We offer both open air and curtained options for our photo booth. With the open air booth we can bring in custom backdrops (the beach? chevron pattern? White flower boards? It is also fun for the guests to see their friends and/or coworkers making a fun memory! The curtained photo booth provides a bit of privacy to bring out your fun faces and has a more traditional black background (also, your guests will be more familiar with it). I (Rebekah) prefer the curtained photobooth because stepping inside the curtain makes me feel excited and stepping out to see my photo is the experience I like! What do you prefer?
The décor is coming out of storage and Starbucks is in full pumpkin overload!
For us, holiday season is the busiest time of year! The Shutterbooth is a GREAT way to remember a fun end-of-the-year work party. We customize a logo to your wants and needs! Our props are a lot of fun and bring the option to goof off a little bit… and who doesn’t appreciate a bit (or a lot) of extra fun?
As we work towards ringing in the new year (2015… really?!), we hope to see you at your event!
We’ve rolled out our Gift Registry service for anyone who may have too many toasters and towels and dishes and would rather have a Shutterbooth at their reception. Or if you don’t quite have enough elbow room in your budget for a Shutterbooth this is the perfect solution. To get started click here.

Why ShutterBooth? Because it’s a fantastic way to add that very memorable extra touch to a special event. We first experienced Shutter Fun at our niece’s wedding in Michigan last fall. We watched friends and families line up at the ShutterBooth and go back for more. Grandparents with grandkids. Cousins. Couples. College friends. The wedding party. Families. What a great way to create lasting memories! It made such an impact on us that, well, we bought the license to share ShutterBooth with the rest of Alaska.
Here are some of the photo strips from Aimee and Andy’s wedding last fall. There’s a large sampling of our family…
We had a great time this evening at the monthly meeting of Alaska’s NACE Section. Section President Teresa Groeneweg, owner of An Appetizing Affair, led a great meeting at Alaska Event Services who celebrated their 10th anniversary with a champagne toast.
Great to chat with Shawn from Five Star Entertainment; we look forward to working with him at Aubrey and Andrew’s wedding. Superstar Pastry Design’s Kory Joyner provided fantastic cake. Dimond Center Hotel is now hosting weddings; contact Michelle Gruber for details. If you’re looking for carved ice decorations for your event Kathy Ax can provide what you need at Social Ice.
We’re building step-by-step. Lots of things to do, banking, business cards, software. And the list goes on. We’re having a blast because we think ShutterBooth is a blast. Today’s task was to set up a Facebook page. Check. All done. Hope you will ‘Like’ us!
